Details: | SUMMARY: PCE and TCE detects DETAILS: A sample from EP-K Willamette Manor well collected 1/23/18 had low detects of PCE and TCE. This well is already on an annual testing schedule for these contaminants. The PCE level is just above the detection limit and about 1/10 of the MCL at this time. The TCE level is about 1/4 of the MCL at this time. In addition, a sample from EP-E Cherry Avenue well collected 1/23/18 had low detects of PCE. The PCE level is just above the detection limit and about 1/10 of the MCL at this time. ACTION NEEDED: For EP-K Willamette Manor well, no further action needed at this time. This well is required to be tested for this contaminant annually during the 1st quarter of the year (Jan-March) starting 2010: next test due 1st quarter of 2019. Annual testing is required as long as detections occur. For EP-E Cherry Avenue, quarterly monitoring for PCE & vinyl chloride must begin starting 10/1/17. Based on the results of at least 4 quarters of monitoring, future action will be determined. Note: the water system voluntary samples more frequently than is required. | ||
