| Details: | Bob called reporting presence of coliform again in his 7/26/21 repeat samples and a special source sample. He plans to shock the well again and then sample the source at least once if not more over an extended time frame. If coliform is found present he'll move to add chlorine to provide residual disinfection. If coliform is not found present Bob is advised to shock the distribution system prior to collecting the routine sample due in August. Monthly routine coliform sampling is now due for at least 12 months. Discussion relative to potential on-going chlorination included: Assure to obtain a chlorinator that functions proportionate to flow An EPA approved test kit for measuring chlorine is necessary Daily monitoring and documentation of chlorine is required Call 971-63-0405 to initiate plan review - plan review is required. |
