| Details: | Left Bill a voice message regarding TTHM sample result of 0.1134 mg/L received for July. No HAA5 sample result was received. Informed him compliance is based on the LRAA calculated as 0.071 mg/L which is below the MCL of 0.080 mg/L. Because the OEL was exceeded, an operational evaluation is required to examine the water system treatment and distribution practices. 8/3/21: Followed up with an email to Bill and provided link to operational evaluation resources. Informed him the completed report must be received by October 28, 2021. 10/28/21: Bill emailed me the OEL report evaluating the high TTHM. The issue is attributed to source water conditions, higher than normal water temperatures, and low customer demand. He is looking into pretreatment options to reduce TOC/DOC. |
