| Details: | Source water quality degraded to high level of turbidity ("cloudy"). Filter replacement rates increased. Cause of source degradation unknown. Suspect this is cause of higher DBP concentrations due to increased TOC load. Coincidentally, water volumes in storage were allowed to increase, which increases contact time. Filtration with the slow sand filter should improved this situation. Also, lower storage volume to keep contact time lower. | ||
