| Details: | As part of investigating treatment plant process issues due to changes in source water quality, the city did an algae ID/enumeration analysis on 8/4/21 to see if algae was a possible cause and some cyanobacteria species were identified. As a result, the city tested for cyanotoxins in the raw and finished water through our voluntary cyanotoxins monitoring program during the week of 8/16 but the samples were crushed during shipping. The city collected additional samples around 8/19 and froze to ship to ship 8/23 but the bottles broke in the freezer. The lab sent another sample kit and additional samples were collected around 8/30 but the bottles broke in the freezer again. The lab sent another kit 9/1 and this time the city tried sampling and shipping the same day on 9/7. Results were received 9/14 and the raw and finished water were both non-detect. | ||
