Details: | Weiss Estates did not meet CT again in July (4 days). DRC Mike Murphy wrote an email to HOA board members Megan and Corinne explaining how to avoid this and what to watch out for. One day in July they did not even meet the 0.2 minimum chlorine level at the entry point. His preference is that they aim for the EP level to be approximately 0.5 mg/L, but that they need to achieve at least 0.3 or 0.4 consistently before they can lift the boil water notice. In addition, they need additional chlorine when the pH gets to 7.0 and above. He is concerned that there is a rise in pH at the time of chemical cleaning (with caustic soda), which may result in them not meeting the CT that day. Perhaps the caustic is not being completely flushed out of the system? He suggests they look into re-plumbing for more flush to waste options. I informed HOA secretary Megan Maloney that a Tier 2 public notice is due for both the June and July violations, and that she could combine them into one notice giving the dates of non-compliance in both months. She agreed to create this notice on 8/21/18. | ||
