Details: 12.14.2021-I emailed Steve reminding him to send me the lead PE information for review.

12.02.2021-Steve informed me that the Lead Public Education (PE) Brochure was distributed last month. I clarified that DWS has to review the PE brochure and approve it before the system can send it out to customers. I provided via emailed a word version of the lead PE brochure. Steve will email me a copy of the information sent out to customers. I will review this information and if necessary, Steve will be instructed to re-distribute additional lead PE information.

Entry Point (EP-A) lead and copper sample collected and reported on 11.18.21.

Next steps:

- Steve was instructed to email me the Lead PE brochure for review.

- Notify DMCE to increase lead and copper monitoring frequency to every 6 months (sent on 12.02.21).

- Operator will conduct the 1st round of lead and copper tap monitoring at 5 sample sites.
The home that exceeded the lead action level in October will remain as one of the 5 monitoring sites. Before collecting a lead and copper sample at this location, Steve will verify that the home owner removed the copper pipes with leaded solder. The first round of lead and copper samples must be collected between 1/1/2022 and 6/30/2022] and the results reported to DWS by 7/10/2022.

- Operator will measure Water Quality Parameters (Alk and pH) twice in each six month lead and copper monitoring interval. For example, measure Alk and pH in the distribution system two weeks before the 1st lead and copper sampling and then again during the lead and copper sampling. Measure Alk and pH preferably where coliform samples are collected. A form was provided to record pH and Alk in the distribution.

- Alkalinity samples at the entry point will be collected at least once every two weeks, but Steve was advised to consider collecting alkalinity levels at the entry point once a week.

Steve stated that he is using an EPA approved test kit to measure alkalinity levels.
