Details: | I called Marty Fleck to follow up on the Water Quality Parameters sampling from Maple Terrace MHP. The phone number listed in SDWIS/Data Online was out of service at that time. So I then called Shiloh Water to discuss this, as they cover operations for the system. I forwarded the Oregon DWS letter to Mike from Shiloh Water which lists the Water Quality Parameters (WQP) sampling that is required and was due in September. I also forwarded the Public Education brochure for them to fill out and distribute to the users of the system's water, which is due December 10th. Misti Shaver from Shiloh Water sent me the lead results for Maple Terrace collected in October. 4 lead samples were collected, so I replied to Misti, Mike and Marty that one more lead and copper water sample will be needed to complete the round of 5 samples, and would be due by the end of the year in order to qualify for sampling out of treatment requirements. I also mentioned that Maple Terrace MHP has been changed to a 6 month sampling schedule for Lead and Copper; this round (which 4 of the 5 were submitted) is due 12/31/2021 and the next round of Lead and Copper water sampling is due by 6/30/2022. I added that if the system's results are all below the action level for Lead and Copper for both rounds, that may pause or cancel the requirement for lead treatment. Mike Lowrie from Shiloh Water sent me an email saying that the galvanized pipe that was contributing to the lead issue was removed and the water was retested. |
