| Details: | Jason called to state that a small landslide on hwy 101 took out about 65-70 ft. of water line resulting in a loss of pressure for the small airport only. The water line is part of Seal Rocks system (PWS#00798) and Newport is an emergency system and have an intertie. The broken water line resulted in a loss of pressure to the airport only. Jason has been alerted the airport of the boil water noticed as well as the placement of door hangers to alert anyone visiting the facility. They have isolated their system and are in the process of restoring pressure. The boil water notice will be lifted when the samples come back negative. 12/22/2021- test results have been received and are negative. The ws has lifted the boil water notice for the airport. |
