Details:	SUMMARY: Water Conservation Policy DETAILS: PWS requested HBH assistance for extremely low water yield in infiltration gallery (IG). The two creeks that supply the infiltration gallery for the system were dry and the water level in the IG barely above the pump intakes. The users were requested to restrict water usage in writing on July 5 and again in September. Water use records indicated that 36% of the users actually increased water usage over the July-Sept period. I contacted Kathy Miller with the PUC for guidance in preparing a water conservation policy for the system so they can be prepared to respond to water shortage periods and excessive use customers. The PUC has OAR 860-036-0325 pertaining to the utility in regards to water supply. I reviewed the rules and prepared a conservation policy and sent it to Kathy Miller for review and comment. Comments were returned and incorporated in the policy. I sent the policy to the Duretts for review. ACTION NEEDED: As needed on comments from the Duretts.
