| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli positive DETAILS: Bob called to report that the September 25th sample collected at the end of the line tested positive for both total coliform and e.coli. Results came back from the lab at 10:30 am on Sept. 26th. Sampling was conducted in the normal routine manner. Mentioned to Bob that Evergreen Acres needed to take four total coliform repeats within 24 hours, and if any of these repeats come up positive, a tier 1 public notice (boil water notice) will need to be made. Mentioned to Bob that he should shock chlorinate the well after the repeats. Told Bob that they will need to take five total coliform routines during the month of October. Faxed the directions for shock chlorinating the well and the tier 1 public notice template to Bob. ACTION NEEDED: Bob will take the four repeats at the appropriate locations for total coliform within 24 hours. Bob will file a Tier 1 public notice if any of the repeats come up positive. Bob to contact DWP if any of the repeats are positive. DWP to provide support if necessary, especially if any of the repeats come up positive. | ||
