Details:	SUMMARY: Repeat samples TC positive, TCR MCL violation for January DETAILS: 3 Repeat samples taken 1/20/2009 were total coliform positive. The original Routine taken on 1/06 was total coliform positive so it is an MCL violation for January. A sample taken at the primary supply well was coliform negative. Chlorine residuals (free) in the system were reported at about 0.2 mg/l using a digital test kit. Dick will check the calibration of the test kit by consulting with City of Nyssa staff.The week of January 26 he will try batch chlorinating in the reservoir with Miox from the City of Ontario and then take more coliform samples prior to February. The City has discontinued the poyphosphate treatment at this time due to equipment problems. ACTION NEEDED: City to send out public notification for total coliform MCL violation. Five Routine samples required in February.
