| Details: | SUMMARY: TC+ routine sample taken 12/15/09 DETAILS: Kristel called to see if they could issue a public notice for a total coliform MCL violation to specific customers served by the contaminated water, should the repeat results come back positive. I told her that if they knew the contaminated water was isolated within a particular part of the distribution system, that they could issue a limited Tier 2 notice. I asked her if they had prepared for issuing public notice materials if they needed to and she said that after speaking with Chris Hughes yesterday, they had completed the needed preparations. She was also concerned because she thought they might have marked the sample locations (upstream, downstream indicators) incorrectly and was wondering if they had to take some more repeat samples. Since they completed sampling in accordance with OAR and did write down the street address for each sample, which could be used to identify the sample locations, I told her that it was not neccessary. Kristel called back later in the morning to report that the repeat samples all came back negative (absent of coliform bacteria). ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed at this time. Report detection in 2009 annual CCR as required. | ||
