Details:	SUMMARY: Ongoing Arsenic Sampling of POU Systems DETAILS: In reviewing this facilitys file, I examined the arsenic reporting in preparation for finalizing plan review for arsenic treatment units. I first tried calling Mr. Macias (SDWIS Contact) and her referred me to his daughter Tana - who manages the water sampling for this facility. We discussed the results and I learned that Space #3 had been converted to an "RV" space and is occupied on a transient basis. Therefore, the total number of POU systems is 27. I changed SDWIS to reflect this. Also, Tana mentioned that a few of the units had been replaced since their initial installation with other RO units. I explained to Tana that 1) she should keep a log book showing testing and maintenance on each of the units, and 2) DWP should be notified of replacements and the proposed units be submitted for review and approval (informal) prior to replacement to ensure that the units have proper NSF certification. ACTION NEEDED: No further action at this time.
