| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine collected 8/23/2012 DETAILS: Dennis called to report a positive total coliform routine sample was collected 8/23/2012. He received a voice message from the lab on 8/27. He was out of the office until 8/29, therefore, the three repeats were not collected until 8/29. Dennis said the operators will work out a way to check each others voice mail to assure the message is received when someone it out and repeats are collected within 24 hours as required. Dennis also reported the chlorine residual was 0.9 mg/L free chlorine. Last months positive sample was collected with a residual of 0.7 mg/L and all repeat samples were negative for coliform. Dennis is not aware of any problems that would point to positive samples when chlorine is present. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat sampling. | ||
