Details:	SUMMARY: Update to As treatment installation schedule under BCA enforcement DETAILS: Last I heard from city clerk Emma Villagrana, the arsenic treatment would be installed by about now, so I phoned for an update. She looked up the dates. April 12th is the expiration date on their current contract with the selected engineering firm (SHN Engineering), but ever since that firm came on board (in January 2013), they have provided Paisley a project schedule showing intermediary steps (40% design, review, 90%, putting construction out to bid, reviewing bids, etc.) and a projected date of August 13, 2013, for the treatment to be up and running. A considerable difference! The City is completing a contract amendment for the contracted engineer to extend it till after that projected completion date. Emma will fax Brad Daniels the signed amendment. It seems that the City continues to have a plan to meet their treatment requirements, but has missed deadlines on two different written and signed BCAs as well as several other estimates. ACTION NEEDED: The manager of DWSs Compliance and Enforcement unit will decide what is the appropriate action to take at this point.
