| Details: | SUMMARY: routine total coliform result and concerns about not meeting CT on monthly report DETAILS: Reviewed the required repeat samples, and best choices for where/how to take them. Lynne will take them herself to maintain proper sampling technique, though shell have to enter neighbor houses. As to why this sample was positive, there may have been a problem with the chlorinator settings. Lynne does the sampling, but Corinne is currently the person recording the daily water plant readings. Hence I emailed the Tier 2 Public Notice template to Corinne and Lynne in case the December monthly report shows that the CT was not met on any days. Lynne is working to develop operator protocols with the DRC, so I forwarded to her other DRC-related materials previous given to others there- a list of operators with membrane experience in neighboring counties they might want to approach as a DRC, and some DRC contract materials. ACTION NEEDED: Lynne will submit repeat samples on Monday, as the lab will not accept them tomorrow (Friday). If any are positive, they will need to issue a Tier 2 public notice for confirmed total coliform. In addition, if the system did not meet minimum CT during December, they will need to issue another Tier 2 notice for that violation. | ||
