| Details: | SUMMARY: filter profile & operator cert progress DETAILS: Chris sent me their recently completed filter profile, which looked good. It took 13 minutes of filter to waste for the turbidity to drop back below 0.1 NTU. They generally have been running it for 20 minutes. This profile satisfies the last of their significant deficiencies from the Oct 2017 survey. Kevin Short, the previous operator who used to still visit the area every couple months and check on/service their PWS equipment, seems to have disappeared from the scene. So, Chris has asked Carlos Vasquez and his wife Brenda to take over those duties. They were already doing the daily treatment and distribution monitoring. They now have calibration standards and have calibrated their turbidimeter. And calibrating the feed pumps. The certification board said that Brenda is eligible to take the WT2 exam, so they have ordered the study materials for her. I believe Carlos may still be planning to take the WT1 exam. ACTION NEEDED: Notify DMCE that all significant deficiencies have been addressed. | ||
