Comments: 1. Meet all surface water treatment requirements including filter effluent turbidity Maximum Contaminant Levels and disinfection treatment requirements. 2. Ensure that all turbidity, chlorine residual and water quality monitoring (pH and temperature) parameters are measured accurately every day that the treatment plant is in operation. 3. Calculate CT every day that the treatment plant is in operation 4. Complete a tracer study to determine minimum disinfection contact time, under peak demand and minimum storage conditions. 5. Representative samples of filter effluent need to be taken directly after the filters, prior to the clearwell, so that filtration performance may be accurately assessed without the influence of additional settling through storage. 6. Conduct turbidity profiles (measuring the filtered turbidity at regular intervals during filter-to-waste, following a backwash) at least quarterly 7. Change the pH sampling location to determine the required CT for disinfection, from raw water pH to first user pH at the treatment plant 8. Secure a certified treatment plant operator that meets the requirements of the system | ||||||
