| Details: | I spoke with Brandon about the repeat E. coli positive collected on Oct 29th is an E. coli MCL requiring a boil water notice. He was already preparing the notice to distribute to residents. He said the E. coli positive was downstream from the routine coliform positive collected on Oct 26th. Well 1 source sampled was absent, and is waiting on result for Well 2. The distribution system will be chlorinated and flushed, followed by resampling to determine if the boil water can be lifted. I emailed him links to boil water template and commonly asked questions handout for reference. County staff were copied on email. Lifted 11/03/2021: I spoke with Brandon Beachamp, he called to let us know that his coliform sampling he performed yesterday after flushing the water system and maintaining a chlorine residual of .4-.2 throughout the system were all negative. I advised him that we will lower the boil water notice and be performing a site visit for a level 2 investigation before December 12. |
