| Details: | 04.22.2022-L2 Coliform Investigation completed. The L2 investigation was triggered by the recent Total Coliform (TC) samples. Based on the results of this investigation, it is believed that human error during the sampling process is the likely cause of the recent TC positive samples. The operator is relatively new at collecting sampling and is still being trained to operate the water system. The operator stated that she forgot to sanitize the sampling faucet, flushed the sampling tap for less than 3 minutes, and did not take into consideration that the rain could contaminate the samples. Corrective actions taken: The operator was provided with instructions on how to collect routine coliform samples and I provided a copy of OHA's guide on how to collect water samples. The system was also advised to update their coliform sampling plan. No further actions needed at this time. |
