| Details: | I spoke with Mac McDonald regarding the positive e. coli water sample result from 11/6/23. Mac says that he or someone will stop by the lab in Tigard, pick up the sample bottles and collect the 5 Confirmation samples at the source. We discussed that all 5 samples are to be taken at the source, the Spring, prior to chlorination. I also added that if any of the confirmation samples are positive for e. coli, corrective action and public notice will be required at that time, but the 5 confirmation samples at the source are the requirement at this time. Mac added that he believes the positive result was most likely due to possibly not flushing the line properly prior to taking the source sample. Mac also added that the chlorine level for the system's disinfection might already be set at 0.2 ppm, which he plans to check as well. | ||
