| Details: | I called and spoke with Mac to schedule a Level 2 Coliform Investigation. Mac says that the source of the contamination in November was that the testing line, (the line where the source water samples are collected from) was not properly capped on the outside at the time of the November 2023 e. coli positive samples. Mac added that this testing line was also not flushed for several minutes during the November sampling rounds either. So it is possible a rodent or some contamination could have entered into the system through the testing line at that time, according to Mac. Mac added that this testing line is separate from the source's supply line to distribution. |
