| Details: | On January 22, 2025, the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) remanded the land use approval for Portland's water treatment plant project back to Multnomah County. Edward Campbell, Interim Director of Portland Water Bureau, emailed DWS to provide notice of a non-Force Majeure event based on Multnomah County notifying Portland that there were no appeals to the decision. The effect is that the project construction must stop until the County issues a new land use approval. Notification was formally submitted via a letter to DWS section manager on March 7, 2025. This letter, containing additional detail, meets the notification requirements of Section V (G) of the Bilateral Compliance Agreement. Updated 3/10/2025. |
