| Details: | PWS Bend Water Department’s (00100) Well HA (COPPERSTONE WELL #1 - DESC1653), and entry point EP-H (EP FOR COPPERSTONE WELL #1 (AWBREY GLEN), have been inactive (not used for routine production) and on emergency use status since August 31, 2023. This well and entry point have not been used for routine production since that time and both should be designated for emergency use. Future emergency operation of the well may include when other sources are unavailable (due to mechanical or treatment failure) and system demand is high. If emergency use is triggered, the system will notify OHA to reactivate the well and samples would be taken at that time to keep up with regulatory requirements. |
