Stage 1 compliance sample sites begin with "DBP." DBPMAX refers to the point of maximum residence time in the distribution system; this is generally the point farthest from the point of disinfection. DBPXX (for example, DBP01) refers to points within the distribution that represent an average disinfectant level.
