Details:	DWS notified PWB regarding a call from a customer concerned about aesthetic water problems at a business in northwest Portland. She was previously employed at the business and noted the water as having an odor, a metallic taste and rusty, yellowish brown in color. The business also serves food and she has concerns with the business's food preparation protocols. I advised her to call the PWB waterline about her concerns. I also suggested she call the Multnomah County Health Department to relay her concerns about food preparation at the business. PWB stated that there are two nearby sampling stations. Samples from these stations have been absent of total coliform. For the past two months the water quality parameters for each of the nearby sampling stations is well within range of what we expect. Based on our records over the past six months, we have not had other reports of human illness in the nearby area. This issue could arise from their premise plumbing. The PWB does not have record of metals analysis from their free customer testing program for either of these locations.
