| Details: | On October 22, 2025 the Portland Water Bureau will be turning off its groundwater supply and returning to 100% water supplied from the Bull Run watershed. It can take up to two weeks depending on the location in the system for customers to receive 100% Bull Run water. Since July 22, the Water Bureau has been supplementing the Bull Run supply with water from the Columbia South Shore Well Field. During that time, groundwater has comprised 30-50% of Portland’s supply depending on daily demand. Recent rains and long-term forecasts are allowing Portland to return to 100% Bull Run water. |
