Details: I was able to speak with the owner of Bauman's Farm and Garden today.

We discussed:
  • Temporary Routine tests for November:
    The water system owner stated that all three tests have been delivered and that instead of using a spatial separation between the three temporary routines, a temporal separation was used since all samples were taken from the same site. We expect that the other samples will be completed and received by DWS in time to satisfy DW Rule.
  • Lab Error:
    The water system owner stated that her water lab acknowledged fault for the late delivery of this system's October Repeat samples and Triggered Source sample. The lab has agreed to write a letter stating this fact. The owner and I will coordinate on how best to present this evidence to the DWS.
  • October Violation for Late/Non-reporting of Triggered Source sample and Repeats:
    It is hoped that with the written testimony of the system's Water Lab, coupled with the fact that the October Triggered Source and Repeat samples were collected in a timely manner, well before the rule required deadline, that the violation associated with the late receipt at DWS will be annulled.

    • I will speak with the owner of the this water system again early next week.
