| Details: | SUMMARY: phthalate detection DETAILS: I called Yone to find out if they did a confirmation sample of phthalates since they got a detection of 0.00099 ppm (MCL = 0.006 ppm) in April 2006. They did do another sample in August 2006 because they needed 2 consecutive quarters of SOCs. The second sample was non-detect for phthalates. Because of the initial detect, they will need a total of 4 consecutive quarters of phthalates: another one in 4th quarter 2006, and the last one in the 1st quarter of 2007. ACTION NEEDED: review sampling frequency after 4 consecutive quarters to see if sampling can be reduced to normal frequency. | ||
