| Details: | I called Gene and we had a brief discussion about TTHM concentrations at the water system. Foremost, I confirmed that Gene had received a copy of DWS' recent administrative order issued to Ken Hick about the water quality problems. I explained to Gene that Ken Hick, as the owner of the water system, is liable if there isn't compliance with the order and I wanted to ensure Ken understands his right to contest the violations and understands the underlying violations and what is necessary to comply. I asked Gene to talk to Ken and make sure he knows the situation and either have Ken call me or put me in contact with Ken directly. Gene said he called Fisher Supply to ask how to resolve the TTHM violations but hasn't heard back. I suggested Gene also call the DWS circuit rider and provided the phone number, both during our conversation and by email, and mentioned that Civil West can provide some free consultation about the TTHM concentrations. I explained that DWS must have an action plan by the end of June so the problem needs to be investigated by then and a plan developed, even if the final resolution is in the future. | ||
