| Details: | SUMMARY: Elevated turbidity event DETAILS: Spoke with Art Easton today regarding an elevated turbidity event that occurred on Saturday, December 11th. Personnel were alerted to turbidity measured at 1.4 NTU and proceded to shut down surface water from entering water system. On Monday, December 13th, a review of turbidity measurements collected during event showed that turbidity had increased to 1.6 NTU within 5-minutes of shutting down surface water. Coliform samples were not taken at time turbidity exceeded 1.49 NTU. Disinfection operated normally during this period. Personnel will continue monitoring water quality to determine when surface water can be brought back online. Coliform samples to be collected when surface water is in use. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed. | ||
