| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead & copper alert DETAILS: Talked with Jeff on the phone in regard to lead & copper Excursion (LCRE).Asked about why the pH might have been off, what happened and how often does he check the pH. I was told the entire system has extensive leakage (6,000 gallons, daily water loss) that would lead extensive pH fluctuation (low pH) and that he checks the pH every 2 days. I let him know that if he gets more than 9 excursions in 6 months time then he is in violation. He has informed me there are major problems with the system and that there is minor to no funding for repair. ACTION NEEDED: Continue active monitoring of system and pH-- make sure that pH meter is properly calibrated. | ||
