Details: 10/21 Spoke with Matt Olson that expedited Nitrate samples have been taken and turned in this morning. Spoke again about what the confirmation samples results would entail as far as actions going forward. John Amery emailed me to show me his citizens alert that he sent to customers of the water and also had his contractor call the customers.
Water is still shut off to customers. System is sampling the reservoir to check safety of water in distribution

10/22 Alert came in for 20.0 mg/L
Larry Russ came by to pick up test kits for nitrate sampling. They indicated that their first special sample for the reservoir was 9.6mg/L. They took another special sample today and will be taking another next week. The source is still shut off and the customers have been informed. Matt Olson called to confirm that they have already been looking at bids on treatment and alternative options. Will be waiting for the letter from the state with details to provide about the plans for the source.
