| Details: | SUMMARY: meeting re: variance conditions DETAILS: Yone Akagi and Ann Richter asked to meet with us regarding the conditions in the crypto treatment variance. Kari Salis, Carrie Gentry, and Gail Shibley were in attendance. Portlands questions were submitted ahead of time. We could not answer with any level of detail, as the variance document is what the PWB must comply with, in combination of the OARs. If the variance document is silent on a particular issue, such as missed samples, there is no provision for it. In looking at the variance document and the OARs for turbidity monitoring requirements, we discussed that turbidities would correlate to compliance turbidities. ACTION NEEDED: none. PWB may want to meet again regarding the watershed protection aspects of the variance. | ||
