| Details: | SUMMARY: e-coli positive routine sample from Reservoir 3 effluent DETAILS: I received a call from Eloise Eccles at about 9:40 AM from the Portland Water Bureau notifying our office that they had an E. Coli positive routine distribution sample taken from Reservoir 3 outlet (PH 1 vault, WQSS0113) on 7/19/12. A site visit to Res 3 conducted by City staff did not identify an obvious cause, the chlorine residual was 1.20 mg/l at the time of the sample, and 3 repeat samples were taken today. I provided Eloise with the DWP after-hours number and told her that Kari Salis would have the phone over the weekend. Ellois said she would contact Kari with the results of the repeat sampling. ACTION NEEDED: Awaiting the results of repeat sampling. System to notify DWP after-hours person (Kari Salis this weekend) of the results. | ||
