| Details: | SUMMARY: Total Coliform positive samples in distribution system DETAILS: Yone Akagi called to report total coliform positives in the distribution system from samples that were taken on Wednesday September 25, 2013. One coliform positive was at sample station 210 in SE Portland. Portland is collecting repeat samples for this positive. She also noted that a sample result from sample station 200 in SW Portland also came up positive for total coliform. This is one of the original sample sites that came up positive in SW Portland that has triggered a total coliform MCL for September. Yone also noted that Portland has sampled the lines leading to the problem area in SW Portland and those results have been negative for coliform. Portland is collecting an additional 12 samples in SW Portland to help determine the area to target for corrective actions. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time. | ||
