| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine positive total coliform DETAILS: Mick called to report that a routine sample collected Tuesday 7/8 from 19020 Cipole Dr came back positive for total coliform (negative for E.coli). Three repeats (upstream, downstream, and original site) will be collected today. A raw source water sample from the well will also be collected today since it was in use at the time of the positive in the distributions system. Mick did not know what the cause of the positive might be although he suspects possible airborne contamination of the sample from a nearby barkdust operation. Chlorine residuals were normal at the time of the positive. Note: Portland Water Bureau was made aware of the positive since they provide water to Tualatin and will collected a raw water sample from their wells since they are in use at this time. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed at this time, will wait for results from additional sampling that occurred today and respond accordingly. Note: Mick reported 7/10/14 that all follow-up sampling was absent of coliform. | ||
