| Details: | Southview wrote "We have replaced the missing screen in the vent at the top of our reservoir, disconnected a pressure tank whose bladder exhibited low pressure (7 psi), eliminated a faulty booster pump that contained a black slimy substance, disconnected our suspicious sampling stations with swivel joints, implemented and completed our cross connection prevention program during 2020, we instituted temporary residual chlorination in November for 5 days achieving 1.3 ppm chlorine throughout our distribution system, and changed our flushing procedure to reduce flow to 85 gallons per minute during flushing so as not to drop system pressures below 20 psi at our booster station during flushing." Thus, residual maintenance is not currently required as the cause of past TC+ may be addressed. If TC+ recurs in 2021, residual maintenance is required. |
