Details:	SUMMARY: Well #14 approved for use after mercury spill DETAILS: Ken of DEQ is preparing to issue a No Further Action determination on well #14, the one where the mercury spill occurred in late 2007. Recent testing has shown Non-detect for mercury, so DEQ is ready to finalize the clean-up. Since this well combines with many others prior to entering the distribution system, and we can only regulate water at the entry point or tap, DWP is fine with this well being used for potable supply when needed. ACTION NEEDED: regular testing as required for seasonal supplies.
