| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine +TC DETAILS: Kari Salis got a call from Tualatin about a routine TC+. The sample was taken 10/12, and repeats were taken 10/13. The chlorine residual was normal at 1.2 ppm. He asked what he should do if any repeats were positive. I said he could take more than 40 and have less than 5% be positive, or take the MCL violation. He asked about repeats on the repeats, and I didnt think we issued violations for repeats when there was also an MCL. I told him the MCL violation trumps the no-repeat violation, but he should still collect repeats if it is needed for troubleshooting the problem. Hopefully it wont be an issue and the repeats will all be negative. He also asked about whether a boil notice can be limited to an isolated pressure zone. I said yes, but we would have to look at a diagram of the system and decide if that was appropriate. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed at this time. | ||
