| Details: | I reached someone at the farm using the contact number but the connection was so poor that we could not communicate. I called back an hour or so later and left a message explaining that Drinking Water Services has not received the required repeat samples or triggered source samples in response to the COLI18427 generated on 11/16/2018 for a total coliform positive routine monthly water sample. I was able to track down another contact number, a private cell phone, and reached Annette Fordyce. She stated that she was likely the best contact for the system. She believes that the last sample came back negative. She was unaware of the total coliform positive, the required repeats or the triggered sample. I briefly explained the situation and the required level 1 investigation because of the missed followup samples. With her permission, I then texted her a succinct explanation of the situation, my contact information and a link to the system's drinking water page. In the text I also asked that she email me so that I can send her the level 1 investigation worksheet and hopefully improve my ability to contact the system. I will refrain from updating the System Info regarding primary contact until I am able to achieve consistent phone or email access to someone at the farm. |
