| Details: | I was contacted by Raymond Fordyce who had a question regarding his level 1 investigation. We discussed what and where a backflow device might be. He does not believe he has such a device. It was noted on the 2014 water system survey that testing of the backflow devices is not applicable to the system, indicating there is not a known device. We discussed exactly what treatment is connected to the system. There is no UV or chlorination. We discussed water sampling methodology and location selection. I sent links for more information. We discussed the effects of low water volume periods at the system and their ability to contribute to positives. I sent links regarding seasonal system and start up procedures to help the system address sampling during slow periods. Raymond submitted his completed Level 1 Coliform Investigation to me and I forwarded it to Drinking Water Services. |
