| Details: | I contacted Nathan Quise via phone to discuss the result for the E. coli positive repeat distribution and source sample. I instructed him to collect 5 confirmation source samples as soon as possible/within 24 hours factoring in that it was Friday. I also informed him that a boil water advisory/public notice would need to posted at the firm. I stopped by the firm to give them (discussed with employee JC Borreson) a public notice template and ensured it was posted. The firm understands that the water cannont be used unless it has been boiled. The firm plans to obtain five gallon water containers to place in the restrooms for handwashing and to turn of the water supple at the fixtures. I also noted the soda fountain has been posted out of order. The sampling information was also sent to the owner of the firm, Rajesh Kumar, via email and he confirmed receipt of the information. I discussed the seriousness of the source water being potentially confirmed (based on testing) positive for E. coli and how this could be a drawn out process to be in full compliance with drinking water rules and not limited to drilling a new well. |
