| Details: | I visited the retail food establishment to conduct a groundwater source evaluation request to send to the DWP. Upon visiting the store I was told by the PIC that the uv light had been fixed and that the public notice had been taken down. I instructed the PIC that the public notice cannot be removed until the problem of the E. coli source water was corrected (not simply replacing the uv light). I asked to speak to the owner of the store and was told that Mr. Kumar was working at the Glendale store. I informed the owner that the pubic notice must be kept in place and all water used for public consumption must be boiled before using. I also informed Mr. Kumar that the water source will be reviewed by a drinking water program engineer and guidance will be forthcoming based on this review. A source water evaluation form was completed with coordinates for the water source and Wolf Creek. |
