Details: | June 25, 2025 Update - Brandon emailed that today's Skid 1 was 0.011 psi/min with an LRV of 4.433. Skid 1 LRV, since the problem occurred, hasn't changed at all from 4.433. On the graph it shows a consistent straight line that says the LRV figure is instead 4.380. The records he was taking from before the PDT/LRV issue started were varying quite a bit and he was wondering if something in the program is messed up or scaled wrong. I requested a screen shot of the SCADA screen. Brandon sent the image and said that he found two leaks on Skid 2. He fixed one of the leaks and got the PDT/LRV to 0.054-log at 3.870 psi/min and will have the other leak fixed by tomorrow. I replied that I was able to match the calculation for LRV for skid 2 when manually calculating LRVambient in an Excel spreadsheet, but I was not able to match the LRV value shown for skid 1. I pointed out that this was likely due to the flow rate being zero. I also noted that the maximum TMP allowed is 29 psid for the BRPWD system and that TMP was about 7.5 – 8 psid back in March 2024 for basically the same flow as yesterday’s TMP of 21-25 psid. June 26, 2025 update - Bandon emailed that he had also been wondering about the high TMP and asked OAWU one of the days they were out at the plant. Jason was able to figure out that we haven't done a CIP (Citric Acid) cleaning cycles for inorganic cleaning since a past operator named Dave Hancock due to a misunderstanding regarding the process. For Skid 1, he believes that flow rate probably stops registering whenever the flow is under 30gpm. He said that whenever the flow is under the 30 GPM it doesn't register to the finished Cl2 injection and with how old the filters are he has been having to progressively lower the skid 1 production rate. The TMP on skid 2 is now having issues and he had to slow the flow down a bit to prevent the TMP from triggering an alarm and will perform a CIP cleaning tomorrow ASAP. Action Needed - continue troubleshooting. |
