| Details: | June 30, 2025 Update - Brandon emailed that he is having some distribution issues that has been keeping him busy over the weekend and a main line break that he was currently searching for. He never got to the Citric Acid cleaning, but he talked to Dave, who was the last operator to perform a CIP there, and he only initiated the CIP using hypochlorite and caustic. He also reached out to WesTech this morning to see if they have instructions on actually mixing and adding the citric acid. He found all the specs and citric acid concentration needed as well as the flow diagram from WesTech so he was just waiting on instructions for actually mixing and adding the citric acid solution. A treatment technique violation was issued for failing to meet direct integrity test requirements on May 29-30, 2025. July 1, 2025 Update - Brandon emailed that Skid 2 shut down from an electrical fault that he believes is in the variable frequency drive (VFD). he is trying to get someone onsite who knows how to properly diagnose and repair the system. I emailed Brandon the public notice template and said he should issue the notice as soon as possible and to include dates not meeting the DIT requirements in the month of June as well as those 3 days in May. I also emailed Brandon that he really needs to focus on cleaning the filters, pinning all fibers that need pinning, getting both filters to pass their direct integrity test with pressure decay rates less than or equal to 0.04 psi/min and ensuring the flow is measurable at all flow rates and that low flows are accounted for in coagulant and chlorine dosing as well as LRVambient calculations. Action Needed - continue troubleshooting and issue Tier 2 public notice within 30 days. |
