| Details: | 7-23-25 Update – A water conservation policy was posted to the district’s website – effective 7-23-25. The policy was issued to ensure a sustained supply with the anticipated upcoming period of heat and drought and treatment plant limitations. Link to website: https://www.brpwater.com/. 7-25-25 Update – Brandon emailed that he was able to complete a CIP but needed to increase HCL to keep the pH under 2 – 2.5 for the next attempt. I had requested design drawings and the O&M manual from WesTech and forwarded these to Brandon, pointing out the section on conducting a CIP, DIT, and skid schematics. I recommended he update the procedures as needed to add clarity to operations. 7-28-25 Update – Brandon emailed that he was able to complete a full CIP on Skid #1, which improved the skid’s performance and will work on completing a CIP on Skid #2 next. 8-17-25 Update – Brandon emailed me that he was able to complete CIPs on each skid with the proper amount of both Citric and hydrochloric acid. He attached screen shots of the results in which UF Bank 1 had a TMP of 20.8 and permeability of 13 LMH/bar at a flow of 49 gpm and UF Bank 2 had a TMP of 7 with a permeability of 46 LMH/bar at a flow of 56 gpm. 8-25-25 Update – Brandon emailed updated SCADA screens showing both filters passing the DIT with UF Bank 1 having an LRV of 4.078-log, PDR of 0.040 psi/min, Avg TMP of 15.56 psi and permeability of 21 LMH/bar. UF Bank 2 had an LRV of 4.514-log, PDR of 0.024 psi/min, Avg TMP of 5.70 psi and permeability of 56 LMH/bar. On 8-26-25 I requested a copy of the public notice distributed to customers and sent another link to the public notice template. |
